During the square dance boom of the 1950s many musicians were mobilized to form bands and record who would not have been recorded otherwise. Many of them came with call sheets, or cue sheets containing the intended dance instructions...

|Bluebonnets Square Dancing - SCJ|
Video of square dancing at our weekly Bluebonnet Squares' club dance. On August 22, 2005, Pat Barbour was the caller. There are two of the more advanced "Plus" moves shown in this clip. They are "Load the Boat" and "Relay the Deucey". The square did an excellent job executing the calls in this short clip. Can't beat this activity for fellowship and exercise. I encourage you to check into a club in your area!

|Street Dancers perform for the tourists in Gatlinburg, Tennessee - Darrell Lee Wright|
A group of young girls and boys, tap dance, and square dance on the streets for tourists. This vacation video was filmed in June of 2007. Originally the video and sound was going to be edited before publishing. However, I decided against it in case there was something of educational importance within it. You have permission to use this footage in any work as long as you give credit to DARRELL LEE WRIGHT for supplying this footage.
